This First Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver, manufactured in 1921, stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of the American West. Chambered in .45 Colt and fitted with a 4 1/2" barrel, this classic wheelgun features a blue and casehardened finish and hard rubber grips that have stood the test of time.
Though rated in fair condition with visible wear, softened markings, and evidence of cleaning or light pitting, it remains in working order and carries unique provenance. According to the consignor, this revolver belonged to Sr. Judge Jack Shanstrom of Billings, Montana, adding a notable layer of regional and judicial history to this storied sidearm.
